Last week, Jacksonville completed a trade which brought over former Miami Dolphin OG Justin Smiley. Smiley, who has a history of injury issues is excited about his fresh start with his 3rd team in his NFL career. “It’s a fresh start for me. I’m really excited. I’m really loving what I see here,” Smiley told reporters. Jags fans are hoping he’ll remain healthy for the 2010 season.

Jacksonville veteran OG Vince Manuwai has already been called out by head coach Jack Del Rio and with the addition of Smiley, he knows his job is in serious jeopardy.

Regardless of the shake up on the offensive line, line coach Andy Heck says no worry. “I’m excited about what we’re going to put on the field. We can win with the guys we have in that room,” Heck told the media. May and June causes hope to spring eternal, and Heck might just be looking at the offensive line through rose colored glasses.
